“The eye follows the ways that were traced for it in the work of art”
Paul Klee
Taking care of the entire production of Veneta Sedie was like inventing a new story to tell. We ventured into the infinite whorls of research. We defined the narrative/working scheme and enriched it with colour choices and new types of finishes for the new textiles. We travelled through styles and tendencies, with interesting divagations. We played joyfully interpreting each single product in three different ways (Luxury, Shabby, Contemporary). The 2016 catalogue for Veneta Sedie could be described as “the Story of a game”.
Miss Felicita, this day is yours!
What are you doing at this time? Roasting coffee,
and spreading the good aroma all around?
Guido Gozzano
Strong bonds with different styles: nice aromas, special flavours and elegant shapes and colours.
Intimacy and pleasure, communion and conviviality: essential to us to live spaces.
Passion dwells in smallest details.
“I’m in love with all the ladies
tasting pastries in confectioner’s shops.”
Guido Gozzano
It was like tailoring a dress, choosing fabrics, colours and materials and then putting everything together and finally enjoy the whole image.
It was like kneading the ingredients for a cake, garnishing it, smelling its fragrance and then eating it with the eyes first.
It was like making a bunch of flowers, spontaneous, never excessive, just protagonists of the result.
Pastel colours on small pieces of furniture, on the walls, filled with meaning thanks to slightly outlined decorations.
